A naturally vegan, gluten free, grain free treat you can whip up in 5 minutes!
A simple, healthy and delicious treat
For the healthier version, try considering toppings like raisins or currants, or drizzle of pure maple syrup.
Peanut butter can be substituted for Almond Butter, sunflower butter or nut butter.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the core from each apple and slice them very thin (about ⅛-inch thickness), using a sharp knife. Arrange on a plate so that each apple has a good amount of surface exposed. Lightly spritz with the lemon juice.
- Melt the peanut butter in a small saucepan along with the date syrup until it is very runny and drizzle it onto the apple slices. Top the apples and peanut butter with the almonds and pecans, and then drizzle with the melted date syrup.
- Finally, top with unsweetened flaked coconut and cacao nibs.
- Enjoy these with your hands, just like real nachos. Serve immediately.
